A constant parenting dilemma I struggle with is birthday parties - balancing kids’ and my peer group expectations in terms of cake, decor and gifts with my own expectations of what is age appropriate, thoughtful and frugal… 🤷‍♀️

Thought I had seen it all in the troubled, resource constrained Indian cop fighting baddies scene with The Family Man, but #Farzi still manages to hold attention. Shahid does his straggler act competently, but others including Kay Kay, Vijay Sethupathi & the women steal the show!

Such fun binging on the Happy Family Dholakias on Amazon Prime. Family friendly content with non regressive POVs and characters, zero bloodshed and swearing, and people dressing and acting realistically feels like a breath of fresh air. Ms. Ratna Pathak Shah owns every scene!

Caught #PathaanOnPrime, English subtitles made it obvious that much of SRK’s acting in this movie is sniffing, chuckling, biting lips! Was a montage of action sequences, no plot or logic. But hey, I didn’t watch this ‘masala movie’ on the big screen so 🤷‍♀️

#CitadelPrimeVideo is all glamour, style and action, but after 3 episodes I am still wondering where this is going and more importantly, don’t kinda care? Less money, more heart might have helped.

#DahaadOnPrime is fantastic and total binge material. The language takes some getting used to, but the setting feels so real, the villain is truly slimy and you really root for the good guys!

Strongly in my Tamil movies binge era, with Ponniyin Selvan2 and Vikram sending me down the Mani Ratnam and Kamal Hassan rabbit holes… 🙈
