Road danger down, a reduction in traffic inside the scheme and an increase of active travel. This kind of social and cultural change is essential if we are to tackle road danger, pollution and enable safe transport equity for all. Well done all at HC for these vital measures.

These two-year trials are now concluding. Residents have long campaigned for this change & have suffered excessive cut through traffic for many years. They are a big step forward for the borough in creating safer fairer, healthier, cleaner streets. haringeycommunitypress.co.uk/2024/12/06/thr…

LivingStreetsHaringey Peray Ahmet Mike Hakata This puts Haringey on the map. It's a big leap into a more sustainable, fairer, safer transport future. Well done for all involved in bringing this about. 👏 Our area suffers from terrible cut thru traffic - let's have targets to reduce it year on year! George Dunstall

As we move into the next chapter of Haringey's LTNs, Cllr Mike Hakata highlights their positive impact. 🌳 The Bounds Green, St Ann's, and Bruce Grove West Green LTNs were given the green light to continue. Let's keep working together for a fairer, greener borough.
