It’s a puddle tasting, view, enjoying, fish, tub, smelling, gull, guarding kind of Friday morning. Being the wharf inspector can sometimes be exhausting. Might have to get myself a new photographer though. Mom has been getting slack. Life of Chum

Since it is a no work day, I decided to con ( I mean convince) mom into a walk to the government wharf. I marked my spots, took in the views, stared down gulls and watched the ferry. Life of Chum.

I just love spending time helping out in our community garden. A great morning spent with my son and DIL, and of course my adorable grand fur baby. No, Chum was not impressed.

Today we had an old fashioned sports day at Sandbanks for K-5 students. How can it not be a great day when this is your playground. Burgeo Academy NLSchools

It was cabin weekend time!! I was the happiest boy. I played, ran, chased squirrels, chewed bones, fought sticks and showed duck and Lambie the scenery. Life of Chum.

It’s a grey foggy morning in Burgeo but my nose tells me that the wind will blow the fog away. I checked the lines, cleaned up the scraps and left my mark. Life of Chum.

The time has finally arrived. It’s retirement time. Thanks Burgeo Academy, it’s been a slice. Now it’s time for adventures with Chum and Mike.

If you’re lucky enough to get to visit Burgeo this summer, across from the park is this gem, our community garden. Feel free to visit, have a picnic and enjoy the garden. It’s wheelchair accessible.

Mom is something called “retired”. I think it means I get to take her for really long walks. This morning I took her to the government wharf. So many great smells. Life of Chum.

Something is up. I had a bath yesterday and today my friends got baths. Dad scrubbed the van and now all my special stuff is in the van. I think we are going on an adventure. Life of Chum. Ps: What’s Marine Atlantic?

Now that’s a boat!! I put my nose to the ground and followed through with my inspection. Not so sure of some of the smells and the rain. But mom dried me off and there’s a promise of a dry bed soon. Life of Chum.

What a day! We went on the gigantic boat, I checked out the pee spot… lame. I slept in the bunk, then we walked around the campground and now I’m out for the count. Life of Chum.

Since mom did something called retired, we went on a vacation. I’m living my best life: I went to George’s house, then I went to some place called Trout lake. I’m tenting, exploring, boating, canoeing,swimming and napping on the couch. Life of Chum.

I might be on vacation but wharf inspections still need to be done. I also did a water patrol, transported my duckies and let the geese know I was in charge of the beach. Life of Chum.
