For early Ophrys bee orchid drama, Rhodes was hard to beat this year. Ophrys halia presented itself there in a wide range of colour forms, including this frankly ridiculously attractive iteration, with atypically green sepals and the merest bruising of amethyst tones.

This is T/Assistant Chief Constable Matt Longman and he is coming under attack from former Defence Secretary Ben Wallace simply because he is doing his best to tackle illegal fox hunting. RT this post in a show of support for Matt’s work!
