Mind-blowing work from Nan Hao Lab about aging! Yeast cells takes two alternative (!!!) aging paths- mitochondrial deterioration or genome instability. A lot to digest what this means for a multiple cellular system, when cells are specialized for mitochondrial or genome maintenance

Fascinating study in yeast showing "aging to be more of a programmable decision process rather than a simple accumulation of deleterious events". Science Magazine

This is a fantastic example of '#Aging as programmatic decoherence', which IMO is the best model for what aging means at both cell, tissue and organism level. #iPS rejuvenation is another great example. Anyway congratulations Nan Hao Lab, looking forward to more work on this!

New from Nan Hao Lab in Science Magazine today and as covered by Emma Betuel: “His team created a third pathway that allowed cells to live twice as long compared to the other two aging pathways.“ inverse.com/mind-body/agin…

A beautiful work that combines single cell imaging and mathematical analysis to reveal new insight about aging ! Congrats Nan Hao Lab

Congrats Nan and colleagues Nan Hao Lab! Not often I encounter a new study on metabolism and epigenetics @cnn. Looking to forward to reading the paper soon - sounds interesting. cnn.it/2OMe5RC

We are hiring! Post-docs and/or staff scientists to work on exciting projects related to oxygen and vitamins. Combination of systems biology, in vivo physiology, cell metabolism and more...Email [email protected] if interested. More details at ishajainlab.com. Please RT!

Immune environment is dynamic and complex. Super interesting work shows the same type I interferon activates positive or negative feedback to prime or sensitize interferon response based on signaling duration. Congratulations to Nan Hao Lab! What an adventure from yeast to immunity!

Out today in Nature Chemical Biology we’re excited to introduce our new ultrasensitive PKA sensor for in vivo imaging, ExRai-AKAR2! Many thanks to our wonderful team of collaborators! (1/2) nature.com/articles/s4158…

Awesome painting from artist and former lab manager Peter Arvidson PeterArvidson.com highlights the awesome work co-authored by former labmate Chris Chidley! Beautiful art and beautiful science 👏👏👏 Congratulations to all!

Come and join us! We are looking to hire a Technical Associate (Research Assistant) to start summer 2021 for a joint project with Fei Chen MIT Dept of BE Broad Institute More info: ashansenlab.com/join.html Apply: careers.peopleclick.com/careerscp/clie… Feel free to get in touch with any questions.

Please help RT! Zhou lab at Boston Children's and Harvard Medical School is looking for a Research Assistant / lab tech, to help us study how immune cells talk to other cell types and their microenvironment. Please apply here sjobs.brassring.com/TGnewUI/Search…
