What offers immediate pleasure comes to seem like a distraction, an empty entertainment to help pass the time. Real pleasure comes from overcoming challenges, feeling confidence in your abilities, gaining fluency in skills, and experiencing the power this brings.

Doing this life with Jesus is one of the best decisions I’ve made. I may not know the end, but I know according to Jeremiah 29:11, it will be a glorious ending.

When you achieve something meaningful through hard work, it will feel insanely hard in the moment, but the reward stays with you. But when you chase quick pleasure, it will feel good in the moment—but the regret & shame will last much longer.

Jesus is real and He is God.

I like me way better with Jesus. I smile more. I stress less. I'm softer and stronger at the same time. It's not because life got easier, it's because His presence changed me. And I wouldn't trade that for anything.
