Such a privilege to speak at UKstrokeforum yesterday about our research looking at changes in the brain after visual rehabilitation post-stroke. This session, chaired by Dr Lauren Hepworth, showcased the impact of stroke on vision, and what we need to do to improve treatment 🧠

Stroke specialist orthoptist @chowardclaire has been awarded a prestigious 5-year Advanced Clinical and Practitioner Academic Fellowship through National Institute for Health and Care Research to develop a smartphone application for virtual reality-based training for visual impairment after stroke.
