Two legends in my schooling field yesterday .My assistant Brendan Powell and lead horse -the near 18 yr old Ballypatrick.You can’t beat experience but I’m not lending them to anybody !

And yet still the racing powers grapple with that impossible question of ‘how to draw in the next generation of racing fan’ It really is as simple as this when you throw in close proximity to the horses too.

One of my favourite moments from yesterday 💛💙 Superb run from Picanha and I’m very proud of everyone behind this horse to have him back racing. A horse’s posture tells its own story on how they feel in themselves and a trainer who simply loves his horses.

Yesterday was such a special day 4 yrs since seen he last ran, #AskBen ran a blinder making his chase debut Taunton Vale Pt2Pt Led & jumped for fun but understandably got tired on heavy ground at the end - finishing 2nd Super ride by Callum Pritchard V v proud to have Ben back 💛💙
