What a way to end 135 years of patient care at SWB NHS Trust Birmingham City Hospital… Dr Kumar is a Specialist Doctor in A&E but has been an inpatient for the last week. He was the last patient to leave and was clapped out by his colleagues. More on ITV News Central this evening.

80 years ago today, on my Grandad’s birthday, my Nanny heard the news of Victory in Japan & knew he would finally be returning, three years after she last saw him. So today is a poignant day to remember them,& all those who have paid in whatever way for our freedom. Thank you.
