I’m a dialysis patient and I’m also a cardiology trainee. The deanery are sending me to a hospital 1.5 hours away during rush hour. If I leave at 1730, home at 1900, start 4 hours dialysis at 1930, needles out ~00:00. To me that’s unsustainable, but deanery are deaf to my concern

Huge turnout for The BMA consultants at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Consultants have lost over a third of their pay in real terms and they are not worth a penny less. They put their lives at risk during the pandemic, yet are rewarded with further pay cuts. We must support them.
