Thank you so much to KickCushings for hosting a patient panel today. It was invaluable hearing everyone’s stories. I’m also very grateful for my favorite new pin!

It was such a pleasure being a part of this course and sharing a passion for neurosurgery and neuroscience with so many faculty and students. Can’t thank Visish M. Srinivasan, MD Sonia Ajmera, MD & Sai Mannam enough for making it happen, and allowing me to have such a fun and informative month

So incredibly proud of all the remarkable work our Penn Global Surgery Group team has put into this symposium. Since learning about Penn Medicine’s work in Ukraine last year we were inspired & determined to create a forum to highlight and discuss their tremendous efforts. Hope to see you there!

This episode was a beautiful reminder of many of the reasons the brain is a fascinating organ and some of the fundamentals we very often forget. Thank you Lisa Feldman Barrett & Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D.

This month’s lab dinner was all about celebrating Dennis Jgamadze’s new position as Research Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery. Congrats Dennis, so well deserved!! Penn Neurosurgery

Our Penn Global Surgery Group symposium highlighting Penn Medicine’s global work in Ukraine was very instructive, inspiring and a pleasure to organize. Thank you to all our speakers, our mentors, and our sponsors! Working with Mackenzie, Tony and the rest of the PGSG board is an absolute honor.

None of this would’ve been possible without the support of our tremendous sponsors from both Penn Medicine & CHOP, including CGH, PennSurgery, Penn OB/GYN, PSOM, Penn ENT, CHOP Plastics and the CHOP Global Health Center.

Penn Medicine CGH PennSurgery Penn Global Surgery Group is med student run with exceptional mentorship from our faculty and resident advisors as well as the CGH team. Huge shoutout to the Penn Global Surgery Group board and in particular our symposium coordinators Mackenzie Castellanos and Tony Leche for organizing this event.

Being a Lead PPN with Center for Surgical Health has been so rewarding and illuminating not just because of the relationships we build with our patients but also for the privilege of working with the amazing volunteers (PPNs) and team at CSH. Penn Medicine pennmedicine.org/news/publicati…
