The department sent four of our guys to Lewisville for a “Saw” class and they have come back and developed a class for our department. A lot has gone into this class by the guys, Falcon Steel, HCFR, FD Admin., and HCFFA.

Haltom City CERT would like to thank each citizen and business that donated to our Water Drive on June 2nd. We collected 16,393 bottles of water and cash donations of $540. Cash donations were used to purchase electrolyte powder.

ENGINE E473, placed in to service in Nov, '18, is housed at FS #3. E473 is equipped with a 750 gallon water tank, capable of pumping 1,500 gpm. The "wet-down" and "push-in" ceremony, a firefighting tradition when housing a new fire apparatus, was held on November 26, 2018.
