Winning start to the season for both the 1s and 2s. With the 1s bowling NVCC out for 58 and knocking it off for 5. The 2s beat Goose Green CC by 10 wickets after bowling out for 58 too. Onto next week #halsallforever #villagecricket

Saturday brought mixed results for Halsall. With the firsts succumbing to a 68 run defeat with their Birkenhead St. Mary's counterparts. The seconds, however, continued their good start to the season with victory away at Asheville Road with a 3 wicket win.

No crowning glory for Halsall on Coronation weekend. The firsts travelled to Prescot & Odyssey CC for their half of the double header, losing by 27 runs chasing 145. The seconds had a day to forget in front of the coronation party crowd. Succumbing to a 5 wicket defeat.
