This week, the children in Year 5 learnt some new knots to create a poppy for Remembrance. They practised the clove hitch, square lashing, and reef knot, showing great perseverance and teamwork throughout the activity.

Afrasiab was in school to share his Islamic faith. He led workshops showing us how Muslims pray, sharing his prayer mats, celebrations and teaching some Arabic! A wonderful day of learning and understanding. We look forward to visitors from Hindu and Christian faiths.

We were also delighted to take part in the Fylde and Wyre Panathlon Tenpin Bowling challenge. A great day for our children to complete in a sport whilst also having fun! They were delighted with their medals.
