Kinder Connect nights are some of my favorite nights of the year! Have always believed my role as a teacher is to support both students and families.

We painted and labeled 2D shapes today. Afterwards, in our math chat, we discussed which shapes were the easiest and trickiest to form. It was so fun to hear kiddos discuss how octagons were tricky because “there are so many vertices!” 🎨 STEMscopes

So many great takeaways from Dr. Marie Heath at our Seidlitz Education PD today. Affirmed the work our team has put into #qsssa the past two years and reinforced the importance of academic discourse opportunities for ALL kids. #prosperproud

Most of my kiddos have firmly grasped that teen numbers are “10 and some extra ones.” I challenged them with a number bond where they had to use 11 and more ones! #numbertalk
