News: Trump met with Elon Musk on Sunday. Comes as Musk has been attacking Biden's immigration policies and signaling privately that Biden must be defeated in November. Not yet clear whether he'll write a big check for Trump. w Maggie Haberman Ryan Mac 🙃 nytimes.com/2024/03/05/us/…

With this homepage headline, the The New York Times perfectly summarizes the night in televised politics: 'DeSantis and Haley Tear Into Each Other. Trump Enjoys Himself.'

Haley and DeSantis 'called each other liars, while elsewhere Donald Trump faced a friendly town hall crowd.'

How Dem establishment used midterm results to clear field for Biden over evidence the public wasn't enthused about re-election was massively undercovered. It was also undercovered bc moves like the state order change were done under guise of affirming racial representation

“I really don’t know where our state was,” said Shay Lee Atari, whose partner — now missing — helped her escape with their infant. She hid in a neighbor’s safe room for 27 hours.
“They abandoned us. They were on Twitter,” she added bitterly.

The details coming out about massacre at the rave near Netivot are too much to take. In the ~100 years of conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, there have been few incidents like this. Deir Yassin and Hebron massacres come closest. It’s a war crime of the very highest order

Notice that no one in Israel is blaming what has happened over the past 48 hours on “Biden funding the Iranians”

Nor is anyone in Israel claiming that this is good for Netanyahu politically.

These takes from abroad are way off.

one thought about Netanyahu. He’s not a war PM. He didn’t go to war against Hezbollah and Iran and in Gaza he was usually dragged-in. He doesn’t trust the “big' IDF, prefers air-power and special-forces and is averse to major ground offensives where the IDF can get bogged-down >
