For once I agree with him, and I will give credit where credit is due. Notice how he mentions when you factor in the Green Card, it brings the total into the 3 million range which agrees with my totals. What he did not mention is there are 5,192,890 computer and math

Holy crap. Federal investigators administered an English Language Proficiency assessment to the driver of the semi who killed 3 people in Florida . He “provided correct responses to just 2 of 12 verbal questions and only accurately identified 1-4 highway traffic signs.”

Shame is the feeling that results from seeing a valued self diminished. Those who feel no shame, accordingly, must not value themselves or see themselves as above shameful behaviors.

Completely unhinged to just say that outright, but it makes sense. Insecurities are actually a good indication of a person's values. You wouldn't be insecure about something you don't care about. You also wouldn't be insecure about it if you thought you couldn't do better.

Self defense laws as currently constituted have relegated decent men into a purely prey species, only permitted to desperately nip at an attacker when cornered and disadvantaged. They don’t account for Honor or dignity at all, they assume a totally passive, submissive attitude

“We now know it was a mistake to allow chaos at the border and let 30 million illegal immigrants into the country. But the idea of deporting 30 million illegal immigrants is just unrealistic, and any attempt would be inhumane. So you have to just let us get away with it actually”

The name itself is less important than the implications of her resistance. “My name is my identity and I’m not prepared to change that” You’re supposed to change your identity when you get married. That’s the whole point of having the institution of marriage in the first place.

What I find so interesting about this is just how obvious it is to me that, exactly yes, if you had a situation where perception was running out of control, the first thing you should do is just close the door and focus your efforts on assimilation, but then the liberal worldview

Tons. High trust society. Very interesting history, both war history and religious history. Probably the most creative society in the late 1900s early 2000s. The second best version of Buddhism. Some of the best artists of all time. In my opinion, the most attractive Asian

I make this argument in Hanging from Yggdrasil. Power is corrosive to society when wielded behind the curtain. Power can only contribute to the renewal of society when wielded openly, when the consequences of that usage can be plainly attributed to the users.

So many progressive takes sound like something you’d only hear from the most extreme racists with “and that’s good” added to the end. “Black people don’t understand the concept of time… and that’s good.”
