Governor Greg Abbott has declared this Sunday, July 6th, as a Day of Prayer in Texas in response to the devastating floods in the Hill Country. Please join me in prayer for the families, communities, and first responders affected by this tremendous tragedy. 🙏

I was on FOX & Friends this morning to discuss the flooding in Central Texas. Search and rescue continues to be our number one priority. Please continue to pray for the families affected by this tragedy.

Yesterday, Donald J. Trump signed a major disaster declaration for Kerr County today activating FEMA resources for the area. He has tentative plans to visit Kerr County on Friday and told reporters he’d like to go today, but "we'd just be in their way."

Today, Chief Nim Kidd participated in an aerial survey of flood damage in the Texas Hill Country and provided an update on the state’s flood response with Gov. Greg Abbott and other state officials. Texas responders continue working day and night supporting impacted communities.

Thank you, Donald J. Trump for visiting Texas today. We greatly appreciate the support you have provided by deploying more than 400 federal first responder employees who assisted with 1,500 rescues during the flood and have continued to assist with recovery efforts.

A year ago today was the fateful rally in Butler, PA. I am grateful the life of Donald J. Trump was spared; however, today, we remember firefighter Corey Comperatore. Corey lost his life shielding his family from the bullets. He is a true hero and will not be forgotten. 🇺🇲
