Very well deserved. Ariel Procaccia is also a very kind and supportive mentor and a wonderful friend. He's the type of person that when you are not sure about a topic, you ask yourself 'what would Ariel do?'

It's great to stop assisting and start associating, with tenure Penn State! I am grateful to all my amazing students, world-class collaborators, and extremely supportive mentors. This journey has been intellectually stimulating and unbelievably fun with you all.

More evidence that the future of AI is multi-agent reasoning capabilities, in negotiations, information sharing, collaboration, and even resource sharing.

Today is the last day to submit to AAAI's tutorials and labs forum. Come teach folks about the newest research and tooling in AI, broadly defined! (Plus, who *wouldn't* want to be in City of Philadelphia in late February ...) Link: aaai.org/conference/aaa… CC Nicholas (Nick) Mattei

The 'open' is in the name! My personal view: all research should be open and human knowledge. It's fine not to openly share research, but be true to the name/vision.

Lottery for NeurIPS seems to be ex ante fair, but what about authors who can't register now (e.g. due to visa issues)? Perhaps we need a lottery mechanism based on priorities.
