Farewell Fighters created the innovative idea to encourage people to make boats out of their waste this King’s Day. By turning waste into something fun and engaging, we can promote sustainability and raise awareness about the growing problem of waste in the world. #hackthewaste

Team Snacks wants to make throwing garbage away more engaging and interesting by adding questions above garbage bins. By answering a simple question like "Does pineapple belong on pizza?" and throwing away their garbage, festival-goers can earn points for their team. #ZAAO

Team "All 4 Won" proposed an innovative solution - a smart bin that could scan barcodes on cups and plates. #hackthewaste #ZAAO challenge

Trash Bandits' solution is a smart bin that incentivizes people to dispose of their waste properly by rewarding them with tokens that can be used to play games or buy food/drinks at the festival. #hackthewaste

Sustainival's summer festival app solves recycling and waste problems with a reward system for recycling, a festival zone map to locate bins, and live notifications for news and schedules. #hackthewaste

A cup collection system, developed by the Flower of the Sun team, uses QR codes and a user account system to allow visitors to deposit cups into designated bins, which will track cups collected and give rewards to users based on the number of cups deposited. #arnhem #hackthewaste

Team Paper Straws is going to #FeedTheBin! ♻️ Their waste solution implements smart bins that are not just functional but also interactive and entertaining. #hackthewaste #arnhem challenge

Team Waste Fighters are the inventors of the Lottery Bin: it contains 3 separate parts that are used for separating paper, metal, Drink carton and residual waste. It will contain a counter that tracks each 100th throw. 1 of a 100 people receive a ticket for a free drink. #ZAAO
