NEW: Professors at Northeastern U. have begun circulating a letter denouncing the school’s response to student protests — including “the false justification for arrests,” “harmful weaponizing of anti-Semitism” and “tactics of intimidation” — and calling for charges to be dropped.

Opinion | It's hard to be a fan of these university encampments. If I wanted to stop the war in Gaza — which, to be clear, I don't — I would protest in a more effective, undisclosed other way.

Princeton has arrested and evicted one third of its graduating African American studies majors. It has also locked the doors of Toni Morrison Hall, where the department is housed and which is right next to the encampment. Super racist stuff guys!

FYI: NYPD official Rebecca Weiner, who cited “outside agitators” as a reason for NYPD raids but offered no transparency is a Columbia adjunct. The unit she leads came under fire in the early 2010s for spying on Muslim New Yorkers. I know because I sued that unit for spying on me.
