Journalists need to stop saying “military target.” These are homes, not targets!

You hear Oct 7 everyday in the news. Can you name one other date? There have been 300.

Look closely at the site of Israel’s bombing of Beirut and you can see every rooftop covered in solar panels. The country is bankrupt and can’t produce power—Israel destroyed many plants. This means the richest countries in the world are bombing the poorest and most destroyed.

Thousands of American taxpayers living in Lebanon have to pay not only for the American bombs/planes that will destroy their homes, they may also have to take out LOANS from US government to evacuate and avoid being killed. How is this different from mafia-style ‘protection?’

Wealthy people in the comfort of their air-conditioned homes attacking those living outside, under bombs made by rich countries, is what this war is all about.

Last night, Israel targeted over 17 towns in southern Lebanon, including my mother’s hometown, with relentless airstrikes. Almost all these targets are forested areas. This is what they call “self-defense.”

Free speech is a myth sold everyday by Western governments and parroted by their loyal citizens, You are never free to confront the dictates of military and security services wherever you live.

I wonder how much of this will end up showing up in museums and private collections in the UAE and Euro-America.
