My GP of almost 10yrs retired yesterday....such a sad day. Almost 200 patients turned up to say goodbye which is probs fraction of all patients cared for. Chatting to their other patients showed how one fantastic GP can make such a difference and change many lives for better💝

One of my FY1s watched me perform a ultrasound guided cannula on ward, later on their own they decided to try ultrasound for a cannula they were struggling with….they were successful🎉 they were on top of world- despite the awful day I had that for me made it all better
