I’m at a loss as to how that is a penalty. I mean, it’s beyond ridiculous! How it’s even looked at, never mind given. If there’s any consistency here, then there should be penalties awarded to the attacking team whenever there is a 50-50 in the box. Should be fun at corners!

Today’s application of VAR should be the final nail in its coffin. It creates more problems that it solves. It’s taken all the fun out of celebrating goals. It’s given officials a starring platform to ruin games without any consequence. Its ruining the game and should be ditched

If I reffed my lads U11s game and they had just conceded to make it 1-1 after being under the cosh for most of the game. If the opposing team were going for the kill and I gave my lads team a pen for no reason at all, and they scored. I would be rightfully called a cheating tw@t.
