Progress underway again to reopen Gwernifor Park Paddling Pool for the 6 week school holidays. Thank you to Cllr Andrew Morgan OBE and Cllr wendy treeby for again progressing various grant applications for the group. Every year you help secure the funding for the pool to reopen #TeamWork 😊

Great news that we have secured grant funding for the pool to be refurbished, work will start later this week so all works are completed in time to open for the 6 weeks school holidays. Thanks to Cllr Andrew Morgan OBE and Cllr wendy treeby for securing the grant funding.

Unfortunately due to damage done to the pool over night it has had to be closed today and won’t now open until later this week when repairs have been carried out. Please stay out of the pool when it is closed and do not at any time use scooters or bikes in the pool area 😡

Gwernifor pool will be opening for the 6 week school holidays, thank you to our local councillors helping to secure grant funding to fund the pool works needed every year.

Work has commenced this week with repairs to the paddling pool before the blue and yellow non slip pool coatings are applied. We are gearing up to open for the full 6 weeks school holidays :) All we need now is some sun 🌞 🤞

The repair work is underway at Gwernifor Park Paddling Pool. Respaintung of the pool and the anti slip surfacing will be completed over the next couple of weeks ready to open for the 6 weeks school holidays.

Gwernifor Paddling Pool. Unfortunately due a a small leak on a pipe in the last few days the pool will not be open today until around 3pm as the water level needs to be reduced slightly for the repair to be carried out this morning. The pool will be back open from 3pm today 🌞

Who has visited Gwernifor pool so far this year? 🙋🏼‍♂️🙋 It’s been a wet start to the school holidays but hopefully things are set to get better by the end of next week 🌞🤞

Subject to final water testing the Gwernifor Paddling Pool will be open from this Saturday (20th July) at 11am until 6pm daily throughout the school holidays. The pool is looking great following repair works and repainting👍

A further water test is required before the pool can safely open, it is now likely the pool will open from MONDAY
