Tonight the nurses let me wash myself and have a little privacy and wash with hot water (not wipes) and it was absolutely amazing. I feel almost like a person again. And I get to pee by myself in a real bathroom!

I want to be home so badly.

I made it all night without an IV for blood pressure!!! I can get out of the ICU soon!!!

The doctor says one more night. They just want to be extra sure (and I think they prefer releasing on Mondays, since Sundays have less support staff). I can make it through one more night if this.

I was so bored and lonely yesterday in the ICU I was texting an ex and he pointed out: a vet could have diagnosed Addison’s in a week or less if I was a dog!

They forgot everything but the tuna! But I don’t care! I see my doggies tomorrow!!!

I have been downgraded from the ICU and am in a regular hospital room until I get to go home tomorrow. It’s a big change from my big private room, but anything to get me closer to the puppies!

I’m so glad I have Terence Shramp with me for support.

I have been so lucky to have the kindest nurses during my stay at the hospital. Even in the much busier area I am in each nurse takes the time to connect, answer questions and really care. I couldn’t be more impressed.

I’M HOME!!! I have been doing nothing but sobbing and covering the dogs with kisses. I’m never leaving them again.

Hihihi. Kid says smol crisis is over. Blood pressure is back up. Terence Shramp is returned to BabyKarls. One million kissies delivered.

My primary care doctor called first thing this morning from her home number (I didn’t know doctors ever did that anymore) and had a long talk about everything that happened with the hospital, diagnosis, etc. she is being super supportive and I feel like I can do this!

Hihihi. Kid made smol breffis sammich. Says was easier having tray brought in hospital, but is better at home with doggies!

Terrible photo, but Luther slept all night snuggled with Terence Shramp. He NEVER does that!

Hihihi. Karls fell over playing toys! Had to be revived by helpful dachshund. Was smol kissy deficiency left over from Kid being gone.
