As Damon says: we are furious. I am furious . What is there not to understand about climate change? 110 Million tons of fossil fuels EVERY DAY. Increasing greenhouse gasses. And in addition, I heard that parliament legalised CRISPR technology today. Check it out

I don’t think we’ve ever had a government so out of touch with a national concern and an opposition so incapable of putting the pressure on them.

Dear climate change deniers, when is it ok to panic? If it’s not when we can’t breathe. If it’s not when the firies say they are dealing with unprecedented bushfires. If it’s not when the fire season started in August. If it’s not when temperature records are tumbling? Then when?

Here it is folks. The reason NSW towns have run out of drinking water so soon is the Nats in NSW changed the rules so they didn’t have to reserve drinking water in case of a “worst case scenario” drought. That water was used for cotton instead. Discuss smh.com.au/national/nsw/r…

Yet more international praise for our sins. “The relentless heat and bush fires have become a flash point in Australian politics, with Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s pro-coal policies criticized by those connecting the dots between the heat, fires and climate change.”

while most of us are getting ready for xmas, good ol’ Angus Taylor MP (minister for cooking the planet & cooking the books) is reopening a coal mine. angus has refused every invitation to open wind farms in his district. but coal? 👍 well done angus! illawarramercury.com.au/story/6556277/…

Karen it is heartbreaking. I think the last weekend would have killed hundreds of koalas and other wildlife . With temperatures in the 40s and no moisture left in the trees, they would have died if renal failure due to dehydration. It is devastating.
