I've arrived in Cambridge. Coming from a country where evolution is not even taught in schools anymore, seeing Charles' face everywhere gives me chills. I already feel much more motivated before the symposium.

Imagine leaving for a week for a symposium to come back to the driest plants in the world - and then try not to feel isolated where you are. I will have this PhD degree not thanks to, but in spite of studying here and now. Challenge accepted.
