Solidarity with anyone this week that has had to scrape ice off a window or windscreen from the inside ... Tea towel shift patterns have been actioned to ensure enough resources for mopping. Will most likely write a poem about this

Absolutely this👇🏽& also this as bare minimum for audience members, crew, performers, hospitality staff along with creation of safe spaces during performance, wellbeing resources, follow-up discourse/signposting etc … Lots of best practice out there but so much for us ALL to do

My only response to this is: In order for me to write poetry that isn't political, I must listen to the birds and in order to hear the birds the warplanes must be silent By Marwan Makhoul

Art is a process of connection; to self, to others, to community, to the World around us & therefore ALWAYS political. You are essentially telling us we have to “disconnect” … Physically impossible to do in the pursuit of creativity. Grant application now on hold.

Thinking of my colleagues at Camden Social Services today and all the love they radiate and nurture. They provided me with a much needed belonging and connection as a professional when I was feeling lost. For our clients & for all of us ... #ToLoveIsToAct #relationalactivism
