Not really a conspiracy that Trump is looking to erode democracy in the US… he is stating it openly in his ongoing moronic take on the authoritarian dictator playbook: apple.news/A2OnoDjeLRMqPI…

Is this a joke? Or a stoned-tweet? If not, thank-you Mr. Emery, for the great example I can use when making the case for prioritizing anti-racism education for student teachers.

“[The] disconnect between graduation rates and educational quality suggests that the province’s education system may be prioritizing graduation over mastery of essential knowledge.” timescolonist.com/opinion/commen… We know this, and yet it remains a wicked problem. What next?

Some good ideas to consider here. Love the idea of developing responsiveness to student difference (arguably the “it” factor in teaching), rather then planning for differentiated tasks based on assumed or designated abilities.

Kate has navigated through so much during her time as CEO of BC's Gold Rush Town. Going to miss sharing the time, her leadership, & the "jellyfish noodles", but wishing her well on the next chapter.
