In Wales in 2022 - 172 young women had their breasts removed, they call it top surgery, many of these young women will be lesbians who have been unsure of their sexual orientation or experienced other trauma, the Tavistock Clinic was full of them. They are our younger selves.

Like many groups, in the weeks since the For Women Scotland Supreme Court ruling, we've been reaching out to political figures and services alike to discuss ways forward. We're particularly sorry that Glasgow Women's Library's directors can't meet us because of 'capacity'.

When we criticise GWL, it's because we remember happier times there for lesbians. The national Lesbian Archive is of course housed there. We would like to see the new legal clarity signal a return to the library prioritising its core constituency - women.
