Mongolia is home to the second largest population (~1000) of snow leopards in the world. The Tost Mountains in Mongolia's South Gobi region are a crucial sanctuary for #snowleopards. It was declared a nature reserve in 2016, protecting over 8,965 sq km of habitat.
