🤖 AI rocket tracker 🤖 to track Gruyere Space Program's incredible rocket launch to 105m and back..not perfect result I hope they launch it again in the future so I get a second chance!

Colibri's 30-meter free flight! 🚀 Flying our hopper is like balancing a pencil. Guided by RTK GNSS, lidars, and INS sensors, the TVC tilts the engine, while cold gas thrusters control the roll. The N2O/IPA 1kN engine, adjustable from 25% to 125% thrust, controls altitude.

GSP is more than just an association, it’s a team! 🚀 From engine tests in the cold winter to flying Colibri 100m, every member made it happen! Huge thanks to the Crans-Montana for believing in us and supporting the first all-student team to fly a rocket hopper! 🏔

Ever wonder how a slice of Gruyère almost caused a #crash? 🧀 On Colibri’s 105m flight, it added aero torque that led to loss of roll #control on descent. For the first time, Colibri missed the pad by 40cm! But our #TVC control remained good, despite the high roll rate! 🔥

Free-flight campaign complete! 🚀 Over 3 days, Colibri completed 8 #free #flights near Payerne Airport. ✈️ Starting with 35cm hops, we pushed up to 105m to test our systems. Despite higher risks and thanks to new safety procedures, Colibri is pristine! ✨

Long article vulgarisé👇 cieletespace.fr/actualites/com…

We’re developing Europe’s first heavy-class #kickstage: POYA 🚀 Delivering 4+ tons of #payload to GEO and beyond, we cut commissioning time from over 6 months to just 24 hours and extend mission lifespans by saving #satellite propellant. 🛰️ Stay tuned to learn more about POYA!

A critical subsystem of the kickstage we are developing is #propulsion 🚀 Our main engine will be restartable and require a reliable #ignition system: a torch igniter 🔥 Our team built a small-scale #teststand to test multiple igniter designs in record time! Stay tuned!

Our first #catalyst assembly has been #integrated!🔧 This prototype will primarily assess H₂O₂ decomposition performance for our kickstage propulsion system, while also giving us valuable hands-on experience with high-test peroxide. 💨 Stay tuned for test #updates 🔥

We successfully tested our #H2O2 catalyst assembly! We validated both decomposition performance and our small scale test stand. Plume is mostly water vapor and oxygen, so barely visible, but we got the expected chamber pressure and temperature! Next up: testing other variants! 🔥

Orbit raising in less than 24 hours 🚀 Our kickstage is designed to precisely deliver 4+ tons of payload to GEO and beyond. Using storable propellant and restartable main engine, we can deliver customers to very specific orbit with high accuracy 🛰️
