Glad to share that our recent work on MES coupled XAS has been selected for 2022 SOLEIL's Scientific highlights. The effect of various factors on the stability and activity of the HDO catalysts was examined. GrunwaldtLab Jan-Dierk Grunwaldt Shmoopy synchrotron-soleil.fr/highlights/202โฆ

My first group retreat in AKGrunwaldt. I had an excellent time with lots of scientific discussions and fun. Thanks to all the efforts that the GrunwaldtLab put together to have such a great event!

Presented our work on XAS reference database under #DAPHNE4NFDI at the International Workshop on Improving Data Quality and Quantity in XAFS Spectroscopy at Australian Synchrotron, Melbourne. #FAIRdata #RDM #IUCr2023 GrunwaldtLab Jan-Dierk Grunwaldt

Outstanding job by our group at EuropaCat2023 in Prague during the poster sessions and the excellent talks by Lorena Baumgarten (DYN), Dominik Neukum (BIO), Simon Barth (EXH) and Linda Klag (CHAR). We left inspired by the productive discussions and the catalysis community.

Thank you for the great week in Prague EuropaCat2023! Our sizeable delegation enjoyed the science and every bit Prague has to offer. In numbers we had 23 people, 16 posters, 4 talks, 2 birthdays and 1 poster prize. Looking forward to EuropaCat2025. Watch out Trondheim! ๐

Glad to share our latest work in ACS Catalysis on the role of iron and cobalt in Bi-Mo-Co-Fe-O catalysts for the selective oxidation of isobutene using complementary operando techniques! Linda Klag Jan-Dierk Grunwaldt @Sheppy_TL Abhijeet Gaur @seb_weber92 pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10โฆ

To use ammonia as a green fuel, ammonia slip catalysts (ASC) are needed. Our study in ACS Catalysis combines kinetic tests, operando XAS and simulations to reveal species governing activity and selectivity of ASC under application-relevant conditions: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acโฆ

We're happy that we can again announce the SPP 2080 DynaKat Early Career Research Scholarships for Female Scientists! More information under spp2080.org. Jan-Dierk Grunwaldt GrunwaldtLab
