Tropical milkweed is now recognized as a Category II invasive species by the Florida Invasive Species Council (FISC). This non-native milkweed disrupts monarch migration patterns, encourages year-round breeding, and increases disease risk by harboring parasites.

You are losing about 1 to 3 minutes of sunlight each day until the winter solstice on December 21st. Most turfgrass requires at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. 😳

Dr. Albers said fire is deeply rooted in our evolutionary history, so it’s no surprise that many of us are drawn to the flames. But it’s not just our ancestral past that plays a role, one study found that sitting by the fire as it crackles can lower blood pressure.

Traffic on turf near cart paths is always problematic, especially for courses that get a lot of winter play. Putting protective measures in place now will reduce repairs needed in spring. 👉bit.ly/4pulfJk
