Year 2 enjoyed learning about Amazing Animal Adaptations today as part of their Science Week activity! They worked well together to match the animal to it's adaptations and think about why an animal needs different things.

Year 2 have started their new poetry unit during English this week. Based on Angelica Sprocket's Pockets by Quentin Blake we have explored rhyming words and had a go at writing our own version. The children loved coming up with ideas for what was in her pockets! Green Ridge Primary

What a fantastic day Oak class had at Claydon House! The children learnt lots about Florence Nightingale as part of our new History unit and were able to see where she spent some of her time. They even got the chance to sit on her bed! Green Ridge Primary
