Sustainability club is back. Last year’s Environmental leaders are helping to prepare materials for workshops in our outdoor classroom & they are testing out the activities & doing some troubleshooting. ERST

We have a new round of workshops for the outdoor classroom this year. These guys are trying out a system for making paper🤩

On Friday classes had the option of booking a movement break where they got to go outside & get a 5-minute talk on meadow management with a demo on how to use a scythe. What a day for it! More meadows please! We need pollinators & they need us.Patrick Kirwan ERST

We may have thought climate change would bring warmer weather to Ireland but not the extreme heat coming elsewhere. However the risk for us is the AMOC switch’s off and we end up with a very harsh, cold local environment, while the rest of the world burns. irishtimes.com/opinion/2024/0…
