This is what Carers truly need. Most Carers are exhausted and burnt out but we’re expected to simply keep going 😢

It would be a dream come true, sad reality is so many of our families children/young people are out of education with nowhere to go because they are unsupported and needs are often totally misunderstood or not recognised.

This is the reality of so many PDA families. We are lucky here in Lanarkshire that you can get a diagnosis via NHS Pathway but waiting lists are also huge. Families are desperate, education then say they don’t recognise it 🤷‍♀️ CYP in crisis 😢

There are so many families with issues accessing SDS and so many told they aren’t eligible x

We are lucky as a group to have made so many great partnerships in our community, we are also grateful that here in Lanarkshire our CYP can get a PDA/EDA profile diagnosis via NHS however we still have a long way too go in lots of ways 🐼💜
