Our shared Program Objectives with our partners in the field are focused on advancing agroecology through practical, community-driven solutions. These objectives form the foundation of our commitment to creating regenerative, equitable, and resilient food systems.

Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) is a scalable, regenerative way to restore land and support farmers with a high adoption and success rate. It protects cropland against erosion, improves soil health, regenerates seedlings, and conserves endangered flora and fauna.

🌍 We recently gathered in Berlin with our NGO partners to learn from farmers leading agroecological change. Over the next two years, we’ll focus on key priorities, including women’s leadership in agroecology, farmer-led soil and water conservation, and climate resilience.

🪴 Amaranth is a resilient seed that safeguards and connects Indian Telugu heritage with the Maya Achi culture in Guatemala. This drought-resistant crop, deeply valued for its high nutritional content and adaptability, symbolizes resilience and food security across borders.

Young people are at the frontlines of the global food crisis and are at the heart of shaping the future of food systems. By amplifying their voices through storytelling, we can co-create regenerative farming and equitable food systems—without leaving anyone behind.

With the support of Vecinos Honduras, Olvin and his family are transforming their farming practices. Through his dedication, Olvin is building a sustainable, prosperous future for his family and inspiring his community.

As a Jwaladevi Women Farmer Group member in Nepal, Parbati Bhandari has transformed her farm by reducing her chemical use and increasing her income by constructing an improved livestock shed and adopting tunnel farming with bio-fertilizers.

According to the UN, 95% of our food comes from soils, while 58% more food could be produced through regenerative soil management. Agroecology treats soil as a living ecosystem, ensuring long-term, regenerative farming practices. #worldsoilday #healthysoils

At Groundswell International, we center the practice of farmers innovating and working with nature instead of against it, spreading solutions farmer-to-farmer to regenerate landscapes.

Our local partner, EkoRural, uses a people-centered approach to strengthen local capacity for continuous innovation. They work with Indigenous and mestizo communities to embrace regenerative methods that restore soil health and biodiversity.

By mimicking and integrating natural ecosystems into agricultural systems, #agroecology supports regional #biodiversity. Its adaptability and region-specific focus make it a powerful tool for conserving and enhancing biodiversity.

The Weekend Bio markets, organized by our local partner in #Senegal, AGRECOL Afrique, exemplify the value of agroecology in creating thriving communities, stronger farmer-consumer relationships, and sustainable livelihoods.
