There’s a lady called Anele who wants to be my friend on here. She says that her interests are golf, shopping, travel, horseback riding and investing. She’ll need to do better than that.

Someone on another platform compared #Farage to the ChildCatcher in 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and now I can't ever unsee it.

This is UK Independence Party leader Nick Marcel Tenconi doing a Nazi Salute at a far-right rally. An insult to the 6 million Jews slaughtered by the Nazis. Instead of arresting pensioners for peaceful protest against genocide, the Police should be knocking on Tenconi's door. RT if you agree.

Day three on the Dales Way. 13 miles from Buckden to Ribblehead. A varied day: starting gently on the upper Wharfe, but rougher moorland walking later.

Day four out of six on the Dales Way, 17 miles by the time we got to our digs, from Ribblehead to Dentdale. A lovely high summer walk.#Dales #Yorkshire #Cumbria

Last night my iPhone slipped out of my pocket while in a taxi to a pub for dinner, in Kendal. I didn’t know. A later customer found it and the very pleasant Kashmiri driver gave it back to me when he picked us up later. Nothing remarkable, just normal behaviour in modern Britain

Finishing the Dales Way with 16 miles from Patton Bridge to Bowness on Windermere. That makes 90 miles over six days for the 81 mile route!

An apology: to the lady who I assured the tube went to Victoria. I’m sorry - I truly thought I’d got on the Victoria Line. I managed to leap off just in time: I guess you didn’t.

Great visit to the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock SOFO Museum today. Interesting permanent display with fascinating angles and new insights and revealing look at the talent and WW1 work of E.H. Shepherd.
