We're about to lock in a cinema size for my movie fundraiser, so if you want to come along you've only got a couple of days to secure your tickets! And if you don't want to come you can always pay forward a ticket for a volunteer! geordierogers.co.nz/movie

Local government is tough, relentless work with achingly slow progress. But this? Bucking a national trend with a significant rise in consenting numbers? Thinking I played a part in making this happen makes it all worthwhile.

Geordie Rogers is one of the best councillors I have worked with. He’s smart, hard working, strategic and a great support to his colleagues including me. Please help him get re-elected by joining me at his movie fundraiser, or just flicking him a donation. facebook.com/events/s/the-l…

One thing I’ve noticed since living overseas is that NZ does a really good job of integrating Māori design principles and storytelling into its infrastructure projects. Which creates a unique sense of place and cultural identity. Hell yeah.

One small correction: we didn’t pause review of land ratings this term cause too hard or anything to do with amalgamation (which is a total red herring imho). We paused because we have a small finance team and they had to do an LTP amendment. thespinoff.co.nz/politics/29-07…

The Common Ground Aotearoa team was out on the doors this weekend in Kilbirnie, encouraging people to support Jonny Osborne for Motukairangi / Eastern Ward in Wellington! Big thanks to Jonny for supporting Land Value Rates.

Everything that Tim Brown says here - a review now is just politics, we should do it on completion. Also, importantly there has already been an independent review of the sludge minimisation facility project budget which will inform our decision next week. rnz.co.nz/news/national/…

Rebecca Matthews (@rebeccajemm) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Our sludge minimisation project has had an independent review of the budget to complete, two gateway reviews and a third to come in November, an internal project team reset will happen very soon, and a full independent review on completion. There is no shortage of scrutiny.

Ben McNulty It’s certainly a busy agenda! Over 1450 pages. I’ll support these variable speed limits (govt has said we have to anyway).. but it was extremely petty of them to require the removal of other well consulted and supported speed limits around cities nationwide. Just saying

If you’re worried about Little being wishy washy then you should vote 1 for your local Green candidates. That will deliver a team that will push for the climate action, transport and housing we need

For The Post story on City to Sea Bridge, they took quotes from councillors about my social media post, but never approached me for comment. Complete lack of balance.
