What began as an idea in 2017 w/ Drs. LoriTheeBuckeye, the seeds Willa sowed & Jennifer M Johnson will now be published in October 2024. There have been many edited volumes about LGBTQ issues & MAY have featured HBCU perspectives, but these works did not focus exclusively on HBCUs...UNTIL NOW!
While at #AERA24 , QualLab at Ohio State GRA, shea wesley martin connected with Faculty Fellow, Wilson Kwamogi Okello, Ph.D. and shared our excitement about his new book, On Blackness, Liveliness, and What It Means to Be Human: Toward Black Specificity in Higher Education.
We cannot wait for October!
