I've said this before & I will say it again: College students are not kids. Stop calling them kids, it undermines their voice and power. They're adults who will be voting. They know what they're doing, they know their rights. Nothing but respect for them.

I know this is random—but a lot of neurodivergent folks are super sensitive to sounds & other sorts of over stimulation, yet they are still out protesting putting themselves in difficult situations out of concern for others. Just saying—I see you, thanks for your courage today.

Can’t explain everything I’m feeling as I watch the university that essentially funded my research on the violent oppression of 1968 student movements do the same. Shame on UCLA. Shame on all the other universities that have shown us their commitment to silencing students.
