WES Bus Drills- Learning about bus safety and what to do in emergencies!

WES rounds out the month of September with an assembly on Respect. We discussed the importance of a persons name and practiced proper greetings and the importance of pronunciation!

Yesterday, WES celebrated RESPECT with our first assembly in a few years! Students considered how greeting someone 👋 and pronouncing their name correctly can be a way to show respect. Then, VlietGroat and I announced the September Kids of Character, chosen for modeling respect!

WES students will start this month with a stance against BULLYING!

Watervliet Elementary had another Friday of TWO COOL ACTIVITIES 😎We learned all about Fire Prevention and saw a fire truck 🚒 and then we hosted the Annual Kindergarten Apple Run 🍎 WCSD VlietGroat

WES ends October Recognizing Student Character. Students get certs, VIP seating and ice cream!

We started our day with our Annual Spelling Bee and now we’re ending it with Family Game Night! Another great day at WES!
