Health myth #24 : Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The most important meal of the day is the one that is richest in nutrient dense protein & fat & it doesn't matter what time a day you eat it. When formulated correctly 1 or 2 of these meals is all you need a day

Chase satiety not Ketones. Saturated Fat is not bad for you but you don't need to shovel it in as if it's a magic potion for weight-loss. High Protein w/ the fat it comes with it or just a little Fat to cook vegetables in is enough. Prioritize protein #LCHPMF

#ATTD2020 DIABETE$: "Only around 6% of individuals with diabetes don't develop complications. This creates a massive opportunity for medical devices that help effectively manage diabetes." - Perhaps the reason why we see no talks on low carb/normal blood glucose.

Sort of ironic as the best analogy for the refusal by the professional diabetes association of the obviously correct low carb approach to diabetes management is Semmelweis.

Dr. Bernstein reviews the PBS documentary on diabetes and highlights glaring omissions. Dr. Bernstein emphasizes that 'its possible for any diabetic to be as healthy as their nondiabetic friends' and teaches how to do it. #BloodSugarPBS

Dry box Cheerios are classified "High Glycemic." In lay terms, Cheerios raise blood sugar FAST - faster than white sugar! How can highly processed food product with a rapid sugar response "reduce the risk of heart disease?" It can't - it's a false claim - deception!

Your body weight is not always a reflection of how much you eat or even how low carb you go. All of the factors that represent how your body responds to your food choices given your age, lifestyle, family history & gender, dictate your energy balance. #hormones

#ADCES20 low carb type 1 kids eating healthy diets emphasizing protein nutrition and veggies generating unprecedented glycemic control. Meanwhile high carb 'eat what you want and bolus' standard protocols show increasing A1cs and rampant obesity despite increase in technology.

This is so beautiful that I almost cried. It's also why I find even her horrific polls to be overstating her level of support in my former state of Wyoming, a beautiful place whose wonderful people she clearly disdains.
