Thanks to the NHS at LEICESTER LRI A&E yesterday they dealt very promptly with a badly cut hand for me. In and put in 3 hours. Well done and thank you.

Praying for the people of Nottingham today. Especially for all those who's families who have been involved in the tragic events. Also for the Emergency workers who are on site dealing with the carnage.

Today is the first of two days that NHS radiographers are on strike. Please RT to show them support. Please also remember that the Government could stop all this any time they wanted.

Me a wheelchair user boarding the bus: “Where am I supposed to go? Bags are blocking the wheelchair section.” Owner of baggage: “I was here first.” Bus Driver: “Are you disabled?” Owner: “No.” Bus Driver: “This is wheelchair priority. You have to move.” Nicely done, bus driver.

Today in the The Mirror we've learned that the Government has unveiled plans to 'turbocharge' use of the private sector in the NHS We have a message for all politicians - we don't want private companies profiteering from our #NHS!

“When we get more disabled customers, we will make the place accessible,” is one of the most illogical things I have ever heard. Access must precede disabled customers. Without access, there are no disabled customers.

Do you think that this is right. In the area that I live in, a hospital groundsman has been awarded a pay increase of £4000 a year. He hadn't asked for one. He now gets paid more than a junior Doctor. I certainly don't. Retreat if you think it's wrong.
