I went camping for 10 days in summer 2020 and didn't shower the whole time. That kept people sufficiently far away from me. #socialdistancing In all seriousness, though, it does seem like a fairly obvious common courtesy. ESPECIALLY in medical offices for crying out loud

Retweeting this thread - contains lots of excellent ideas for instructors who want to help their students study better. Will definitely be using this the next time I teach to re-tool my study guides. #AcademicsWithADHD (but you don't need ADHD for this advice to be useful!)

Who else is having a tough time with the world deciding the pandemic is over? My son is high risk, my partner and I are scrambling to watch him during the day and work when we can. I'm so jealous of the people who can send their kids to daycare. Academic Chatter™

Just found out that another grad school colleague has left their tenure track position. This brings the count up to 5, I think. Has anyone else noticed an uptick in this, or are my acquaintances anomalies? Thoughts? OpenAcademics #AcademicTwitter Academic Chatter™

The fact that some of ya'll are legitimately angry that I said that professors are not obligated to share their syllabus before the first day of class lets me know everything I need to know about America's continued lack of concern, empathy, and consideration for teacher's needs.

This study is amazing. I'd love to see something similar for #geography. Curious if American Association of Geographers has published anything on the subject? Have seen articles in Professional Geographer about where undergrad geog folks end up but not PhDs.

Do you have a paper you authored/co-authored that you are super proud of, yet didn't get much attention? I'd love to see it - doesn't matter your field! Reply with a short description and a link so we can all celebrate your work! OpenAcademics Academic Chatter™
