3:40 AM | Rain is developing south of I-4 this morning. These showers are moving ENE. There may be lightning too. Most of this will stay south of I-4 this morning and will impacts portions of the commute.

5:00 AM | Sct'd rain and storms south of I-4 this morning impacting folks from Bradenton and Sarasota all the way east to Sebring. These will continue most of the morning and will likely drift north closer to Tampa.

RAIN FORECAST | The heaviest rain today is most likely to fall south of the I-4 corridor though some shower activity is possible as far north as Pinellas, Hillsborough and Polk counties through the morning.

FORECAST | Only a couple showers this morning with most starting dry. It'll be warmer today with most of the sct'd storms today happening late in the afternoon and evening. Highs will reach the upper 80s with a heat index in the 90s.

7:50 AM | Rain and storms over the Gulf spreading north toward Sarasota county this morning. This will work it's way north along the I-75 corridor all day with additional sct'd storms developing as temps warm to near 80. Bring your rain gear today.
