Leg again passes a bill to exempt NYC school construction from the Wicks Law which requires the prep. and bidding of four separate contracts on certain public projects. This exemption is important bc it saves NYC money. If it saves the city $$, why aren't all schools exempt?

Heartbroken and angry at the news of Hersh and the other hostages. I pray for his family as they heal from this tragedy. I appreciate the President’s and Vice President’s commitment to bringing hostages home. May Hersh's memory, and those of the other hostages, be a blessing.
