Opening the @aacr Advances in Malignant Lymphoma meeting tonight with a fabulous keynote from Dr. Tak Mak, University of Toronto. Tet2+Idh2 mutations in AITL makes T-cells "party hard in the germinal center". #AACRlymph24

Thank you to AACR, Margaret Foti, PhD, MD (hc), Blood Cancer Discovery and International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma for supporting #aacrlymph24, and for all that attended. It was a great opportunity for interaction and idea exchange to drive lymphoma research forward. Looking forward to the next meeting in 2 years. Pencil it in! #lmsm

Transcriptional/epigenetic chemical inducers of proximity (TCIPs) are an innovative new class of therapeutics that are set to impact lymphoma and other malignancies. Here Roman Sarott, Sai Gourisankar describe a CDK9 "catch and release" MOA for a new TCIP. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

Why is it that journals do not have the same data sharing standards for pharma as they do for academia? There is always a vague statement that you can email the company to request the data. But, after you've told the company all your ideas, the answer is invariably no.

For those of you who have had a hard time with papers, this was a doozie. Several editorial desk rejections, all for different reasons, and then an extensive 41-page rebuttal required for revision at Blood. All told, ~2 years from first submission to acceptance. Just keep at it!!
